Patricia Jane Boonreuang, 23, of Austin was charged on Thursday in Mower County District Court with felony first-degree sales of 17 grams or more of methamphetamine.
According to the court complaint, police met with a confidential reliable informant (CRI) on Dec. 21 about purchasing one ounce of methamphetamine from Boonreuang. The CRI was searched and provided with an audio transmitter and buy money. The police then monitored the CRI’s vehicle as it went to the 300 block of 11th Street Northeast. Police then observed a 1998 Ford Taurus park near the CRI, and the CRI entered the Ford Taurus’s back seat, where he purchased methamphetamine.
The CRI then met with police at a predetermined location and surrendered 28.177 grams, just shy of one ounce, of methamphetamine, the complaint states. The CRI also said Boonreuang was accompanied by a male, later identified as Cristian Andres Wilborn, 19, of Austin. He said he gave the money to Boonreuang and Wilborn handed him the methamphetamine
Boonreuang was arrested on a probation violation on Tuesday and a warrant was issued for Wilborn’s arrest. Wilborn also has a second warrant out for a felony drug charge.
A review of Boonreuang’s criminal history shows a prior conviction for felony drug possession.
Boonreuang will appear in court again on Sept. 20.
