This is such a beautiful time of the year, when the trees are starting to take on their brilliant colors.

It also means it’s time for us to take our travels to the road and smell the fresh country air as our fall schedule continues with a motorcoach.

On Oct. 7, we plan to take a riverboat cruise on the St. Croix River to Stillwater.  It will be “Jazz Me on the Water.”

A group playing Dixieland music will accompany us as we cruise along, with  a buffet lunch and a chance to view the newly opened bridge.

We will be departing at 9:30 a.m.  and return to Austin at about 6 p.m.  The fee is due by Sept. 24.

On Nov. 7 we will see Irving Berlins “Holiday Inn” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

It is a beautiful musical with storyline based on the 1942 movie, and with songs you will all remember including  “Easter Parade.”

We have a  few seats remaining with the fee due by Oct. 16.  Motorcoach departs at 9 a.m. and returns about 6 p.m.

Nov. 27-30 will be our Branson Christmas. Our line-up includes five shows and a couple of extra attractions.  Fee is due by Oct. 9.Waiting list only.

Dec. 5  is “Christmas on the Lake.” A new theater to our travelers, Yellow Tree Theatre in Osseo, Minnesota, will include  lunch at the Cracker Barrel.

Sign-ups have begun. Call our travel number for more information. Members of our senior center will also have details.
