Beverly J. Morem, 85

Beverly Jean Morem, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2018 at home, one day before her 86th birthday.

Beverly “Bev” was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, Charles; a devoted mother to her children and a proud grandmother and great grandmother.

Beverly was born on Sept. 19, 1932, in Austin, Minnesota, to Inga and Donald Weston. She graduated from Austin High School and attended both Carleton College and the Minnesota School of Business. She was a sorority sister of Beta Sigma Phi. After college, she worked and traveled with Jay Hormel as his personal secretary. She met and married Charles Morem, before he was deployed during the Korean War, and moved to San Diego, California. After the war, they moved back to Austin and lived there until her passing.
