Best Bets: Taking a dip in the pool with man’s best friend

Published 8:01 am Thursday, August 16, 2018

The annual Doggy Dip will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Austin Municipal Pool.

Thursday is the last day for public swimming at the pool, according to Austin Park and Recreation Director Kim Underwood. The Doggy Dip is the last chance to use the pool before it closes for the season.

Underwood said the water level will be below the skimmers to avoid anything getting into the filtration system.
