A Minnesota gubernatorial candidate forum will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, in the Grand Hall of the Verizon Center, located at 1 Civic Center Plaza in Mankato.

The forum will focus on issues important to Greater Minnesota. It is co-sponsored by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities, Greater Mankato Growth and the Greater Minnesota Partnership.

Confirmed participants are GOP candidate Jeff Johnson and DFL candidates Erin Murphy, Lori Swanson and Tim Walz. GOP candidate Tim Pawlenty was also invited.

Marvin Rhodes, general manager of KEYC News 12, will moderate the forum.

The forum is free and open to the public with doors opening at 7 p.m. It will be televised live on KTV and live-streamed online.
