Macular Degeneration support available to seniors

The Macular Degeneration Support group will meet again July 11. They will meet the second Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. This group is for everyone who is living with this visual impairment and/or the caregivers. The public is invited to attend. On July 11, Lisa Largus from the State Services for the Blind will be the speaker.

Join us for dinner at noon on Friday, July 13. Come and bring a friend to celebrate our nation’s independence. We are having BBQ beef, potato salad, baked beans and dessert. Cost is $8 for members $9 for non-members. Entertainment is sponsored by Primrose. Please book by calling 507-433-2370 or stop by the front desk to make your reservation for noon on Friday, July 13.

You may not be old now, but if you’re lucky, one day you will be. We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the Senior Center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. On Tuesday, July 19 we are having scalloped potatoes and ham in the coffee shop for only $2. You are always welcome at the center. See you here!
