Under Minnesota Statutes 244.052, the APD is authorized to inform the public of a sexual or predatory offender’s release from prison or a secure treatment facility when the APD believes the release of information will enhance public safety and protection. The notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

The APD also wants the public to be aware Beaudry is not wanted by the police and has served the sentence imposed on him by the court. Any attempt to threaten, harass or intimidate Beaudry could result in criminal charges.

If Beaudry is seen in areas where children are present, such as parks or school zones, or engaging in criminal activity, the public is urged to call 911.
