The Austin Post 1216 VFW baseball team picked up a sweep over Faribault as it won the District game 12-2 in six innings and it won the non-District game 6-4 in Seltz Field Sunday.

Teyghan Hovland struck out eight and he allowed just two hits and one earned run in six innings to win the first game for Post 1216 (11-6 overall, 4-2 District). Dawson Mills knocked in four runs for Austin in the opening win.
