Police are looking for a vehicle that was stolen from an auto repair shop between June 15 and June 25.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police took a report at 1:11 p.m. on Monday at the Mower County Law Enforcement Center from a man who said his red 1997 GMC Jimmy with Minnesota license plate 023MGK was stolen.

The man said he brought the car to West Oakland Auto Repair to have work done on it. He was called to pick it up on June 15, but was not able to make it to the shop until Monday. When he arrived, the vehicle was missing and employees told him they thought he had already picked it up, Krueger said.
