Austin police are looking for the individual or individuals responsible for stealing clothing and other items from a northwest residence.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police were called at 6:01 a.m. on Monday about a burglary in the 400 block of Second Street Northwest. The victims said they left the residence at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, returned Monday morning and found the kitchen and bedroom in disarray.

Various items of men’s clothing, Polo high top shoes and several gold chains were missing.

Entry to the residence had been gained by cutting a screen in the bedroom window, according to Krueger. The door was locked at the time.

Police have no suspects at this time.
