The Special Olympic’s team from the Austin YMCA had their first competition of the season April 29.

In attendance were Hannah Keenan, Ella Riley, Justice Barnes, Jacob Reisnour, and Amythyst Kretler.

The team won three first place ribbons, five second place ribbons, and two third place ribbons.  The team also has qualified for the State meet which is called Summer Games which will take place on June 22-24 at the St Thomas campus.

This is the state level competition for basketball, gymnastics, track and field, and swimming.
