Over 100 volunteer workers took part in the annual Memorial Day Weekend Work Retreat at Camp Omega near Waterville.

Each year the camp invites anyone who would like to spend a cost-free Memorial Day Weekend at camp in exchange for helping to prepare the camp for its summer ministry to join hands and hearts.

Funds for the event were secured through a Thrivent Action Team grant and from the Morristown American Legion.

Camp Omega is part of the ministry of the Minnesota South District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
