National Day of Prayer to be observed on Thursday

National Day of Prayer will be observed in Austin on Thursday at noon in a gathering at the flag pole at the Mower County Veterans Memorial in downtown Austin.
This year’s theme is “Pray for America – UNITY.”
Prayer time will be 12:10-12:30 p.m. and will be led by local pastors.
Prayers will be said for local, state, and national leaders, local schools, churches and businesses.
The National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
