LP’s Christopherson is headed to state track meet

Lyle-Pacelli junior Kayla Christopherson punched her ticket to the Minnesota Class A state track and field meet on the first day of the Section 1A track and field meet in Elgin Tuesday.

Christopherson clinched a trip to the state meet in the 3200-meter run as she finished third with a time of 11:21.57.

The GMLOKS girls’ 4 x 100-meter relay team and 4 x 200-meter relay teams both took first in the preliminaries.
