The Jane Taylor Academy of Dance will hold its 54th annual recital at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Austin High School’s Knowlton Auditorium.

Tickets are $9 and will be sold at the door.

All proceeds from the flower sale will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This past season the Jane Taylor dancers has been busy, with the dancers competing at four competitions and were awarded first place high score overall for senior division duet at three competitions and a special award for “dynamic duo” (Joseph and Levi Seeman); third place high score overall in teen division (junior company); fourth place high score overall Senior Division solo (Jordan Harmon); fifth place high score overall senior division solo (Jacy Hansen); sixth place high score overall teen division and scholarship winner (senior, junior and performing company lyrical); sixth place high score overall teen division trio (Molly Berglund, Ashley Augustin, Siri Ansorge); ninth place high score overall senior division and a special award for “jazz and pizazz” (senior company), special award for “beauty and grace” went to Lauren Riskedahl.

In addition, the dancers were awarded three Platinum Awards, 11 High Gold Awards, two Gold Awards; and Starpower scored on a scale of five stars.The Jane Taylor Academy of Dance dancers were awarded the following: one routines had five stars, six routines scored four and three-fourths stars, and two routines scored four and a half Stars.

Students competing were: Joseph Seeman, Levi Seeman, Jordan Harmon, Emily Conroy, Jacy Hansen, Lauren Riskedahl, Molly Berglund, Ashley Augustin, Siri Ansorge Kaitlyn Riskedahl, Emily Augustin, Emma Haugen, Rachel Engelstad, Bianca Herrera, Carys Clinefelter, Nathan Seeman, Christi Anna Tate, Megan Dilley-Jones, Callie Hillman, Jocelyn Voth, Chelsey Collins, Namo Afanou and Emma Stanley.
