The Hayfield baseball team beat Pine Island 7-6 in nine innings in Hayfield Friday.

The Vikings (13-6 overall) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game at 6-6 and they won the game when Mason Tapp scored on a wild pitch in the ninth.
