Ethan Arett is the recipient of the Arkema Blooming Prairie Plant Scholarship Award.

This award is presented each year to a qualifying graduating senior from the Blooming Prairie High School. The award is in the amount of $4,000.

One half ($2,000) of the award is given at the time of graduation, the balance ($2,000) after successful completion of the first college year with the intention of enrolling for a second year.

The award is designed to encourage graduating seniors to enter selected fields of science or engineering.

The award was presented at the Blooming Prairie High School annual Awards Program on May 9.
