Spring continues its wily ways tomorrow — by welcoming back winter.
A winter storm warning for southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa has been issued for the area on Wednesday, with 5-8 inches of snow expected, according to the National Weather Service in LaCrosse, Wis.
The warning goes into effect at 7 a.m. Wednesday and extending to 1 a.m. Thursday.
Difficult driving conditions are expected, including both commutes on Wednesday. There is a chance of a wintry mix of ice and snow as the system enters the area Wednesday morning. Snowfall of 1 to 2 inches of snow an hour could occur at the storm’s height.
Visibility will be reduced significantly, according to the NWS.
