The Arc Mower County helps  people and families every day and your contribution means a great deal. It means that people will have choices for social, leisure, and  entertainment activities in the community, and that caregivers will be able to  choose the kinds of in-home assistance they need — and when they need it. It means  that families will find support, education and inspiration.

If you are unable to donate financially, we are always looking for volunteers who can donate their time.

Volunteers  are vital to the programs and services of The Arc Mower County. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization,  lending support in a variety of ways to the people and families we serve. Your contribution can make a valuable difference in someone’s life. Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals and groups.

Volunteer Opportunities

•Activity assistant: Assist arc staff with activities which includes games, sporting events, trips, bingo, etc.

•Board of Directors/committees

•Building maintenance/janitorial

•Fundraisers: Rose sale and Taste of Mower County.

•Newsletter assembly

•Office assistant/receptionist: Answer phones, data entry, prepare mailings and newsletters, etc.

•Special Olympics coaches and unified partners
