According to Austin Police Capt. David McKichan, the vehicle was found on Thursday parked in the driveway of a residence in the northwest. The home’s occupant did not recognize the vehicle and called the police, who determined it was the same vehicle stolen from a northeast garage earlier in the day.

Police believe the vehicle was parked there and abandoned by the thief.
