A stolen 2008 Dodge Caravan was found on Thursday after police arrested a teen who had an arrest warrant in Olmsted County.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, an officer arrested a 17-year-old male late Thursday morning in Mapleview.

He was wearing a lanyard with a key fob around his neck. When the officers pushed the panic button, they found the Dodge Caravan.

Police then executed a search warrant on the teen’s residence in the 200 block of Broadway. Inside, they allegedly found gift cards, an ID and keys.

The items, along with the Dodge Caravan, had been stolen late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning from a residence in the 400 block of Third Street Southeast, according to Krueger.

The teen was taken to Many Rivers Juvenile Detention Center in Rochester.
