A similar incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. on March 28 and 6 a.m. on March 29 in the 1800 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest. In that case, someone had used an unknown object to smash the rear window of an SUV that was parked in a driveway. Various items in the car had been strewn about, indicating it had been ransacked, though it was unknown if anything had been taken.

Police have no suspects in that case and it is not clear if the cases are related.
