QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen, Inc., a leading manufacturer of refrigerated food products, is seeking an individual with a positive attitude, good recording and organizational skills to join our team.
This position is a full time Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours may vary depending on special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain Quality Control procedures, multiple HACCP plans, SQF certification. Know and follow all food safety and quality standards as determined by SQF programs and FSMA requirements.
- This position is responsible for food safety throughout Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen, Inc.
- Supervise Quality Control Technicians and Micro Lab Technician in quality control.
- Conduct inspections with Minnesota State Department of Agriculture, FDA, customers, and 3rd party audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Food Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years’ experience in QC/QA for food manufacturing.
- HACCP Certificates in Seafood and Advanced HACCP Principles, and SQF Practitioner.
- Must have supervisory experience and be able to teach food safety.
