PEM sweeps Southland softball team

The Southland softball team was swept by Plainview-Elgin-Millville by scores of 11-7 and 10-3 in five innings in Rose Creek Friday.

Senior Chelsey Kasel hit her first career homer for the Rebels (0-4 overall, 0-4 Three Rivers) in the first game.

“Chelsey’s homer was well hit into the win. It was nice,” Southland head coach Greg Schultz said. “She’s been hitting well for us.”
