Packer baseball team sweeps Rochester Mayo

The Austin baseball team swept Rochester Mayo by scores of 15-7 and 16-10 in Rochester Tuesday.

Hunter Johnson hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning of the first game to put Austin (2-1 overall, 1-0 Big Nine) up 15-7.

“I was really happy with what we did offensively,” Austin head coach Joe Kroc said. “To put up 31 runs in two games is pretty impressive.”
