Nicholas Michael Douglas, 20, of Houston, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim 13-15 and an actor more than 24 months older as part of a plea agreement on Friday in Mower County District Court. He initially pleaded not guilty to the charge on Jan. 4.

A charge of felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 16 will be dropped at the sentencing.

The Austin Police Department received a child protection intake summary from the Mower County Department of Human Services about a pregnant 15 year-old on Oct. 2. The summary alleged that Douglas, who was 19 at the time, was the father.

A detective spoke to Douglas, who said he knew the girl’s age, that they had been having sex, and that she had become pregnant.

Douglas will be sentenced on Aug. 18.
