To The Editor
Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin is thankful for the support from the community of our annual Easter Event which was held on March 31, 2018.
We would like to thank Hy-Vee, Shopko, Sterling Main Street, Walgreens and Wal-Mart for the wonderful donations given for our event. The generous gifts from our church members and groups also made this event such a blessing to the over 300 people in attendance.
Our guests had an enjoyable time as we started our morning with hearing the Easter message from God’s Word. The families then delighted in a carnival and puppet show by Jim Jayes while munching on a snack. We ended our morning fun with an egg hunt outside looking for over 1,300 eggs!
Special thanks and shout out to volunteers for their hard work making this a fantastic tradition and to Jim Jayes for the awesome show. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
