The Hayfield softball team lost to Goodhue 11-10 and it beat Kenyon-Wanamingo 10-0 in Hayfield Tuesday.

Hayfield (2-3 overall) had trailed 9-1 against the Wildcats, but Jacie Gustine had a two-run single in the fourth and an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to get the Vikings back in it. Carrie Rutledge tied the game up at 9-9 in the sixth with an RBI single, but the Wildcats used a two-out, two-run single to take an 11-9 lead in the top of the seventh.

Jenna Jacobsen had a two-out, two-run triple to put Hayfield up 3-0 against KW in the game.
