Donna L. Froehlich, 90, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Mark’s Living in Austin.

Donna Louise Lambert was born on Aug. 10, 1927, to Henry and Ruby (Reno) Lambert in Aldrich, Minnesota. She lived various places in her childhood. On Oct. 9, 1948, she married Arthur Froehlich in Bertha, Minnesota. The couple moved to Hewitt, Minnesota, and lived on the farm until relocating to Austin in the early 1950s. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Gary. Donna worked as a housekeeper for many years. She was a long time member of Holy Cross in Austin, where she taught Sunday school. She was very artsy and enjoyed baking and cross stitch. Donna will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Arthur Froehlich of Austin; son, Gary (Diane) Froehlich of Owatonna, Minnesota; two grandsons, Josh Froehlich and Dakota Froehlich; brother, David Lambert of Florida; four sisters, Carol Person of Lakeville, Minnesota, Virginia Lyson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Linda Hrabi of Winnipeg, Canada, and Marilyn Lambert of Grand Forks, North Dakota; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruby Lambert; grandson, Justin Froehlich; two brothers, Richard Lambert and Charles Lambert; and sister, Ethel Novak.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with Pastor John Schleicher officiating. The Froehlich family will greet friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
