Spruce Up Austin will host another guided Tree Trek Tour from 5:30-7 p.m. on May 9. This is a great way to spend time as a family, learning about the different varieties of trees along the Tree Trek and proper planting techniques.  It may spark you to plant a tree in your yard too.  Meet us by the East Side Lake Gazebo on May 9 at 5:30 p.m.  A rain date is scheduled for May 10.

Community clean-up

April Clean Up is still going on through April 30. Bags and gloves will be available for you to pick up in our office. The garbage bags of trash you collect can be left beside a trail or in a visible space in a park for our crews to collect and dispose of.  Thank you very much for great community support shown for this program.

Leagues

For those kickball and sand volleyball players registration is underway.  Kickball league is played on Thursday evening with a registration deadline today.

Sand volleyball league is played on Monday evenings, deadline to sign up is May 4 and league begins May 14.  Please call our office if you are interested in more information and watch Facebook as well.

Even with the recent snow fall Austin Youth Baseball sign up is underway.  They extended the deadline so if you have not registered you still have time. We are hoping that the weather turns around soon!
