Some items were stolen from Ankeny’s Mini Mart after someone threw a rock through a window late Saturday night.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a call at 5:28 a.m. on Sunday at the Ankeny Mini Mart No. 1 at 1205 Oakland Place SE. An employee who came to open the store said a rock had been used to break the east side window.

Surveillance footage posted on social media shows someone in a white hoodie throwing a rock through the window, while someone in a blue hoodie grabs items off a nearby shelf. The footage was allegedly taken before midnight on Saturday.

Krueger did not make any comments on the surveillance footage, except that it was being reviewed by the police.
