Although Westminster Presbyterian Church holds an annual Mission Workshop Day, missions are at the forefront of the entire church year.
The workshop day, however, is the culmination of the year-long ministry, whose efforts provide for many, from creating Easter baskets to the homebound, to sewing and knitting items for missions overseas.

On Feb. 21, many from the congregation gathered to work on several projects.
They included the sewing of 11 walker caddies for local nursing homes; 19 dresses for girls in Africa; washable hygiene kits for women overseas; numerous cards for the elderly and the aforementioned Easter baskets; and countless knitted items, such as scarves, hats and slippers.
