Six area wrestlers finished in the top-six at the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Saturday.

Austin junior Isaac Arjes finished in sixth place at 220 pounds in the Class AAA meet after he lost by injury default to Isiah Green of St. Cloud Tech.

Westfield sophomore Colton Krell had to settle for second place after losing 9-2 to Caledonia’s Zach Schneider in the title match.

Westfield’s Ethan Arett finished in fourth place at 106 pounds after he lost 10-4 to Chatfield’s Scott Goetzinger, GMLOS’s Parker Hale took fourth after he was pinned by Jace Gerving of Deer River, Westfield’s Morgen Moreno took fifth place after he pinned Jake Erckenbrack of New York Mills and Westfield’s Mitchell Oswald took fourth at 285-pounds after he was beaten 4-3 by Trevor Oppedal of Blue Earth Area.
