Mella’s goal lifts Bruins over Brookings

The Austin Bruins came up with a late goal to beat Brookings (19-26-2-4 overall) 5-4 in Riverside Arena Friday.
Alex Mella netted the game-winning goal for the Bruins (28-16-2-4 overall) with 13:52 left in the game.
Mads Soogard stopped 10 of the 14 shots he saw for Austin and Alex Schilling stopped all four of the shots he saw in relief.
