Lorretta “Lottie” Seira, 91, of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, March 4, at her Cedars home.

Lottie was born Sept. 11, 1926, to John and Margaret (Mueller) Keilen.

On Sept. 25, 1946, she was united in marriage to Frank Seira, with whom she had three beautiful children. This union was later dissolved.

Lottie held many jobs, including head checker at Tempo, jailer and Reeds 4th Ave.

Lottie loved playing cards and going to the casino.

Lottie is survived by her daughters, Carol (Denny) Eckman, Healdsburg, California, and Sherrie (Jerry) Rasmussen, Austin; son, Gary (Hazel) Seira, Owatonna, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Lottie is preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings.

A prayer service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Mayer Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Lyle Area Cancer Fund. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
