The Austin girls basketball team closed out its regular season by beating Albert Lea (4-22 overall, 3-19 Big Nine) 56-45 in AL Saturday.

The Packers (13-13 overall, 12-10 Big Nine) will open the Section 1A tournament when they host Kasson-Mantorville Wednesday at  7 p.m.
