It was Valentine’s Day, and Pacelli anatomy and physiology students were tugging on some heart strings — literally.
University of Minnesota-Duluth med student Mickey Moran presented to all Pacelli High School science classes on Tuesday. Lab teams had the opportunity to dissect a deer heart and practice their suturing skills.
Moran worked with Sonia Ramirez and Danny Nelson to trace the flow of blood through the heart and learning about heart murmurs.
