Obang hits 10 threes as Packers clinch a share of Big Nine title

Austin junior Medi Obang set a new school record in as the Austin boys basketball team clinched a star of the Big Nine title in an 88-37 win over Albert Lea (0-23 overall, 0-21 Big Nine) in AL Saturday.
Medi Obang set a new Packer record by knocking down 10 three-pointers in the win. He finished with a career-high 36 points as he went 10-for-15 from the arc.
The Packers (24-1 overall, 20-1 Big Nine) have a chance to win the conference title outright if they can win at Rochester John Marshall March 2 at 7:30 p.m.
