Marjorie J. O’Harra, 78, of Austin, Minnesota, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.

Marjorie Jane Bjergum was born on July 3, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Julius Bjergum and Geneva (Stroud) Bjergum. Marjorie lived in Iowa City before moving with her family to St. Paul, Minnesota, at a young age. She was united in marriage to Richard Douglas O’Harra in 1963 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Marjorie raised her children before returning to school to obtain her GED. In 1980, she moved her family to Austin, where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Eagles and enjoyed playing Facebook games and watching her favorite shows on television.

Survivors include three children, John (Dina) O’Harra and Michael O’Harra of Austin and Melissa (Jason) Hagen of Owatonna, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Aiden and Jake O’Harra and Joseph Hagen; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Bjergum and Geneva Wold; her husband, Richard; two daughters, Kimberly Murry and Tammy Radke; and three sisters, Carol Bjergum, Lila Poppert and Ruth Soler.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Dale Christiansen officiating. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
