The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Hayfield 68-58 in BP Monday.
Hayfield controlled the game early on, but BP (11-10 overall) was able to get its offense going in the second half. Gabe Hagen led BP with 15 points.
“I think our boys had the right mentality throughout the contest and appreciate the defensive effort it took to keep them within striking distance,” BP head coach Nate Piller said. “It could have gotten ugly for us had we hung our heads but the boys continue to fight.”
