Twenty-five swimmers from our team competed against 19 other teams from around the state. Austin finished 13 out of those 19 teams. Our swimmers performed really well.

This meet was the last event of the regular season for our team but those with a qualifying time are now practicing for a regional meet down in Des Moines. This meet is set to take place on March 17 -18.

The YMCA of Austin is excited to announce the start of our Healthy Weight and Your Child Program. This program is a 25-session evidence-based program delivered over 12-months for children with obesity.

The program empowers 7-13 year olds, with the support of their families, to reach a healthy weight and live a healthier lifestyle. The program includes a Family Information Session, 16 weekly sessions, followed by 4 biweekly sessions, and 5 monthly sessions. Our group leaders are passionate about kids and making healthy habits fun and attainable!
