ROSEMOUNT — A lockdown has been lifted at Dakota County Technical and Community College in the eastern Twin Cities.

The Rosemount campus gave the all-clear on the school’s Facebook page just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, about an hour after the school went into lockdown.

The statement did not say why the school was placed on lockdown.

Dakota County dispatch confirmed to KSTP-TV that there was an ongoing situation but declined to release more information.
