Rebels run past Lewiston-Altura

The Southland girls basketball team had three players score at least 15 points as it beat Lewiston-Altura (5-12 overall, 4-8 Three Rivers) 60-52 in Adams Tuesday.

Senior McKendry Kennedy hit a season-high four three-pointers to score 18 points, sophomore Lexi Smith had 17 points, and freshman Kelsey Mensink added 15 points.

“Lexi and Kelsey probably had their best games of the year,” Southland head coach Dean Bentsen said.
