The Austin boys hockey team lost to Rochester Mayo (8-10 overall, 5-5 Big Nine) 7-2 on the road Thursday.

Bryar Flanders scored a first period goal for Austin (5-11-1 overall, 1-7-1 Big Nine) and the game was tied 1-1 after one period, but the Spartans tacked on four goals in the second period.

Jake Halsey scored a third period goal for Austin.
