The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Zumbrota-Mazeppa (8-4 overall, 3-3 HVL) by a score of 60-52 on the road Friday.

Maggie Streightiff had 17 points for Hayfield (9-2 overall, 4-1 HVL) and Carrie Rutledge added 15 points.

“It was a tough matchup for us,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said. “They were bigger than we were, but we shot just well enough to get it done.”
