Car catches fire at bank drive-through
No one was injured in a car fire that occurred on Wednesday at Wells Fargo Bank in Austin.
According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police and the Austin Fire Department responded to a car fire at 3:53 p.m. in the drive-through of Wells Fargo Bank.
The car’s driver, a 46-year-old woman, said she was waiting in line at the drive through when she heard a pop and saw flames coming from the engine compartment.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and the car was towed away from the scene.
