A call Monday from a Dexter convenience store led to an arrest in rural Sargeant.
According to Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi, the call was made at 2:15 p.m. on Monday after a woman, 32, came in and told store employees she needed help.
A store employee called 911 and gave the license plate of a red pick-up she then got into. A man and a small child were also in the truck. Law enforcement ran the plate, which came back to an address in rural Sargeant.
A deputy, a state trooper and a Grand Meadow police officer arrived at the address at 3 p.m.
They arrested Ryan Arthur Sanvick, 44, for alleged domestic abuse. They also found items of concern in the truck, according to Amazi.
Sanvick is currently awaiting charges from the County Attorney.
