Ressler hits game-winning three for BP

The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team was able to grind out a 62-61 win over Maple River (4-4 overall, 1-2 Gopher) in BP Friday.

Jake Ressler hit the game-winning three-pointer for BP (4-4 overall, 3-1 Gopher) with 3.2 seconds left in the contest.

Cameron Kubista led BP with 22 points and Kaden Thomas had 14 points early before he was taken out of the game after getting hurt.

Max Romeo didn’t have a ton of points but worked his tail off on defense and rebounding,” BP head coach Nate Piller said “Lots of guys really worked on defense. By far this was the best we’ve performed this season. The boys are doing remarkably well fighting through lots of adversity.“
