The Austin boys basketball team beat Totino-Grace (0-2 overall) 72-53 in Hopkins High School in the Breakdown Invitational Saturday.
The win was the 300th in Austin for head coach Kris Fadness.
The Packers (2-0 overall) trailed 15-10 early, but they closed the first half on a 34-15 rally to break things open. Tate Hebrink, who had 20 points, scored seven straight points during that run.
“Tate really got on a roll,” Fadness said. “It was a good team effort. Our defense really got to them.”
