Marian Christiansen, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed peacefully Dec.16, 2017, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota.

She was born on April 22, 1934, to Edward and Frances Ditlevson of Blooming Prairie. Marian married Einer Christiansen in 1953 and to this union two sons were born, Kenneth and Lee Christiansen.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth; sisters, Delnora and Connie; brother, Lynwood; and grandson, Wade. She is survived by her son, Lee (Lori); daughter-in-law, Sheree; sisters, Joyce (Carl) and Nola (Roger); grandchildren, Ryan, Staci (David), Angela (Bob), and Matthew; and her greatest joy, seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service is scheduled for a later date. Marian continues to be a beautiful angel in our lives. Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
